There is a website, known as the ebtEDGE website, where all groups of people who deal with Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards can access all the information they need centrally. The first group of people who deal with Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards is that of cardholders: who receive benefits through the cards via direct deposit. If you are in this group, you can check the balance on your card and review your transaction history on the ebtEDGE website. The second group of people who deal with EBT cards is that of EBT Merchants. The third group of people who deal with EBT cards is that of people working in the agencies that disburse the various benefits, via direct deposit, using EBT cards. Yet another group of people who deal with EBT cards is that of child care providers: typically folks who are ordered to pay child care by courts. There are also the EBT partners, representing yet another group of people who deal with EBT cards. All these groups of people can access all the reports they need, pertaining to the EBT cards, on the ebtEDGE website.
An overview of ebtEDGE
ebtEDGE is a site where EBT cardholders, the agencies that disburse benefits through EBT cards, EBT merchants, child care providers who pay through EBT and EBT partners can access reports online. We all know that most of the government agencies that disburse benefits nowadays do so through Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) direct deposit cards. The people who run such agencies sometimes want to access EBT reports and other forms of EBT documentation. The ebtEDGE website enables them to do so conveniently, online. The people who receive the benefits through EBT, on the other hand, often want to know what the balance on their cards is or to view their transaction histories. The ebtEDGE website enables them to do so conveniently, over the Internet. All the other groups of EBT stakeholders are similarly served with the information they need, through ebtEDGE.
